Only the Good Die Young?...

There I was on a fateful Saturday afternoon trying to log on to surf the web (proverbially, of course), and what should i receive but a pretty little power light turning on and no other response?! Thankfully, I am still covered by warranty, so I will eventually receive a functional PC at no cost to me. Not so thankfully, there is the possibility that it will not be mine, as well as the fact that the minimum time estimate is 3 weeks. Therefore, I have been tossed into a virtual stone age (semi-pun intended) in which I rely on the kindness of others for my web access. Also, just for kicks and to torture myself, I checked prices on the current equivalent of my PC and it now costs slightly less than half of what it did roughly a year ago.
In a nutshell, I now laugh at a mere external hard drive catastrophe and demand that anyone reading this put my computer repair in their thoughts and/or prayers. On the bright side of things, I have a viable excuse to remain unemployed, as I'm not even sure that companies accept resumes in a non-email form anymore. Of course, I kid, but I really will use that as an excuse =P
So, yeah, Happy February....

Yes... the new and improved Dalif.Com is one month old. Altho the domain has been in my possession since 1998, the current form is only but a month old. All over, I'm well satisfied with it. And already I've got a star cast writing staff, working around the clock, to scour out the important and amusing musings from the little place we like to call the intraw3b.Â
So, please, raise your glass or whatever drinking container of your choosing, and join with me, in a toast... here's to another month :)
Kudos to all my friends. You know who you are :)

Tough month. I always enjoy moving to a new place, but I hate the actual moving part. My dad and bro and to some extent sister, helped moving the last of my stuff today. The new room is littered with boxes and stuff now.. It's cool. But I have to stay at my mom's for a bit, while she is away on a skiing holiday. Her cat, apparently, is unable to feed itself in her absence. Oh well.
So as soon as she returns, I'll be in my new place full time. I'll still try and maintain this low carb diet I'm going to be attempting from Feb 1st.
Oddly enough, I can't remember another single event from Jan, worth mentioning... well apart from the fact, that the new and improved Dalif.Com has been running a full month today. It was started in order for me, and any friend who'd find it interesting, to have a place on the web in which we could express random thoughts, chronicle our lives or just... mess around with whatever. It secretly worked as a testing grounds for a project I'll also start up in Feb. More about that later. I know only a very few select people really visit this page, so most of our inable bablings are wasted. But who cares. It's there for the taking, and if anybody had the slightest of interests.. there we are. It's fun for us anyway.
Okies.. I'll stop ranting now. Until next time !

Also, Dalif's external drive is in my (non-existent) prayers.
