Whether we'd like to admit it or not, May is almost over. Looking back on the month, I do wonder why things turn out as they inevitably do.Â

Happy B-day Ranc

Yeap... today is the day, where our old chum Ranc turns a new leaf.. the big three O. For 30 odd years, this guy has roamed the earth, churning butter and tossing rocks at random people... when will he be stopped? I doubt he will. But who knows, stranger stuff has happened.
On not at all related notes, I dunno if I mentioned this, but I quit my job at the hotel recently, and will be trying to find other jobs to keep me on top. So far, subtitling movies and series are taking the lead, but I'm up for most anything that isn't during the night... As long as I have time for it, I'm good.
Besides this, life's slow. Still getting myself together after the recent breakup. Funny how you start missing the little things so damn fast. That's almost what hurts the most. I remember all the fine little details of the skin on her neck, and the feel of the warm skin on my fingertips. I miss the best friend aspect of it.. that's the hardest part about breakups, imo... You don't only lose a lover, someone you love a lot... you lose a really good friend, one that would always listen and sympathize. Ouch. But it's gonna be ok. I'm strong, even tho I don't feel it all the time. I just have to search myself for the strength.
Phew... lot of deep talk there. I better stop before this goes all girly on you :p

Old friends turn up in the strangest places sometimes. Or perhaps they turn up in a very likely place, but you were still surprised. It all goes to show how sometimes old memories are back to please/haunt you...
