I've probably touched upon this topic before, but.... DAMN. 300 simply looks like it will be the movie to rule them all. 

Watched the trailer before Ghost Rider yesterday. I've seen it about 50 times already, and yet it still gave me goosebumps. It's probably one of the coolest trailers ever, on par with Return of the King and X-Men 3 (both of which I've watched so many times, I can't keep track). Yeah I know watching a trailer many times is probably bad, but... DAMN^2.

I'm gonna go see a Digital Screening of 300 with Rancor, and it's one of the highlights of my life at the moment (yes, life is boring enough for a movie to be this important), and I might faint multiple times in the cinema, when watching it. From sheer happiness. Just you wait... just you wait.

So, the idea of going to the movies was brought up, and we sort of just went with it. Ghost Rider had been discussed, and we were both thinking: why the hell not. 

Let me say right off the bat, it's as corny as they come. Lots of semi-amusing, semi-serious dialogue, one-liners, plot-holes and stumbling storylines. But, it also had lots of pretty cool special effects, the Marvel factor, self-irony, Nick Cage and above all Eva Mendes. Yeah, so I think a nice girl helps redeem this flick? Sue me. That being said, Nicholas Cage does do a decent job.

Overall, I'll say you probably have to keep your tongue firmly in cheek when watching this. Either that, or just be a comic book nut, and overall sucker for Marvel and everything related. I just happened to be a combination of the two, so I came out thinking Ghost Rider rode a flaming 6 out of 10 in on my scale.
