Hello kiddies...
I know I'm off on holidays, but I just wanted to post this to you people. I found it pretty awesome.. well most of it anyway. Wouldn't mind having a few of those on my walls, to be perfectly honest.
Anyway, back to enjoying life with booze and two wooden planks on my feet.

Ye well... in the moment of truth, I decided upon the 17 inch monitored Acer laptop. You see, with the lethal combination of two parts slain bird, and one part stone, I figured I might as well get a laptop AND a new mobile phone. I had a looksie around the web, and found out the Nokia N82 was the baby for me. Yes, I'm geeky when it comes to tech stuff. I like to play with these toys, and I always felt that the few areas of genuine interest I do actually have, might as well be the areas in which I take extra care I don't buy the cat in the bag.
I'm off work in a moment, with a few events I feel you guys might be entertained from. I'll see if I can remember typing them out when I get home. I'm out... toodles.

Some of you may call this a luxury problem, but it's still something that calls for a decision from me. And as we all know, decisions in these types of situations, aren't my strong suite. The problem: My payment for the website is due, and I have to decide if I want one or the other laptop.
They are essentially quite alike in specs, bar a few things. One is a 17" monitor, the other sports a 20" monitor. Now, some of you may be going "what's the problem, just go with the 20" and get it over with". And while that was my first notion, I'll admit I'm tempted to ditch the large monitor for a smaller piece of machinery, in order to lose about 6lbs in total weight I have to lug around. Then again.. 20" monitor... that would be fucking sweet. I don't really like the layout of the 20" tho... but 20 motherlovin' inches of monitor goodness. Seriously?
I'm almost decided, when suddenly Grue joins the frey, links a-blazing. He 1-ups me with a new contender: the macbook pro. Macs.... a mac for me. I dunno, I've not liked macs for years, due to their reluctance to be compatible with the standards I need. But Grue promises these new macbooks are cool. They'll even let you dualboot Mac OSX Leopard with a Winblows installation. Fair enough I guess. And the specs are better than what I've found. My god, how am I supposed to decide? I dunno. My original plan was to dualboot XP and Ubuntu... but I dunno now. The macbooks do look spiffy indeed. What the hell?!? Somebody help.

Ye, I suddenly realized I had been given a 2 weeks notice for renewing this domain. And that was like.. 9 days ago. My Visa card has been inactive for some time, and I wasn't able to renew it myself, since only a credit card could do it. Had put it off long enough, and it soon became apparent to me, that had I not in fact renewed it before Tuesday, I might very well lose it. And that wasn't a comforting thought, seing as I've had it since 2001.
I spoke to Rancor, and he agreed to renew it for me. But for some reason, the renewing process also required access to webbanking. Right, we tried from his box, but a technical error made it impossible to write the login information in the designated areas on the webbanking page. The textboxes were outside the pop up windows frame, and with no scrollbars, getting them in focus proved impossible.
I was getting somewhat desperate by this time. Then my brother, who happened to be visiting, offered to provide the service required. He had a different bank, one where the webbanking wasn't tied to one computer, and where the coding was sufficient enough to allow him to actually follow the payment through. I opted for a 5 year deal, for the lowly sum of USD 60, meaning this fucker won't expire til 15-01-2013. That's right, baby. 2k13. Howzabout that? Spiffing indeed.
So, now I'm off to do the final corrections on the webpage I just finished up, effectively allowing me to buy a new laptop. I'll be back with you guys in the not too distant future. Be good!
He got mad weapons too

... ok so I was listening to Wild Wild West with W. Ill Smith, when I started typing out this blog entry. Is there a problem with that? No seriously, if there is a problem, let's have it out in the open. You sure? Ok, but I don't want to hear about this incident in your best man speech at my wedding, understand? HEY, look at me... do you understand? Doing that that will not end well for you. So, now that we have the finer points settled, let's move on to the topic at hand, namely fewd, or to the layman, food.
As you may well know, I rely heavily on food in order to survive. Now, I may be going totally rogue with my assumptions, but 50 big ones in my pocket says that you do too. So we can readily assume that without food, you and me, and probably about 6 billion other human beings on this earth, would cease to exist, were somebody to remove food from life's great equation. Where are we going with this, you could be pondering to yourself right now. And I wouldn't blame you for it. In all honesty, you probably not been told anything you hadn't already read on a milk carton or something. "Why is this random moron telling me things I already know, I mean what's the point of telling people stuff they already know? It's a waste of time" is a question I'm imagining you asking yourself right now (please donate $10 to my paypal account if I was correct). Well, my shifty friend, there is a point. Read on...
Seing as I'm a sucker for food, I am greatly disappointed when the lack of said food interferes with my daily routine. I'm a poor chap, as you may well know. I've compensated somewhat by getting a job at a hotel, a place where food is in the greatest abundance. I pay X amount of monies from my salary per shift I work, in order to ensure the presence of well crafted food upon said shift. When I worked the evening shifts, food was usually served from 5pm til 9pm, and consisted mostly of some sort of potatoes with some sort of meat, very often chicken. What the hell the chefs were on back there in the kitchen, I've no idea about. Now that I'm working night shifts instead, more often than not, they have left no food whatsoever. Which, to be perfectly frank with you, is well annoying. Since I already pay for food at the hotel, and I happen to be working a lot, thus being at the hotel itself quite a lot, I've sort of based my food budget on being able to ingest the majority of my meals while working.
Hmm it's late, and I had a break of some 12 hours between the first part of this post, and now, so I'm not quite sure what the hell I was saying. Or where this whole thing is leading me. But I guess I'm at least near the end. Spend the evening with my bro, playing Civilization II, and just having a blast. Decent night, all in all. Anyway, to sum the post up, I guess I wanted to say that I'm annoyed with the chefs for not being consistent about the food making. We ordered pizza yesterday, my colleague and I. Hotel paid for it.. Or we made them pay. I guess that's ok. Just not my idea of living healthy, you know... oh well, digression is a must I suppose. Hey-ho!
