Decisions decisions decisions

Some of you may call this a luxury problem, but it's still something that calls for a decision from me. And as we all know, decisions in these types of situations, aren't my strong suite. The problem: My payment for the website is due, and I have to decide if I want one or the other laptop.Â
They are essentially quite alike in specs, bar a few things. One is a 17" monitor, the other sports a 20" monitor. Now, some of you may be going "what's the problem, just go with the 20" and get it over with". And while that was my first notion, I'll admit I'm tempted to ditch the large monitor for a smaller piece of machinery, in order to lose about 6lbs in total weight I have to lug around. Then again.. 20" monitor... that would be fucking sweet. I don't really like the layout of the 20" tho... but 20 motherlovin' inches of monitor goodness. Seriously?
I'm almost decided, when suddenly Grue joins the frey, links a-blazing. He 1-ups me with a new contender: the macbook pro. Macs.... a mac for me. I dunno, I've not liked macs for years, due to their reluctance to be compatible with the standards I need. But Grue promises these new macbooks are cool. They'll even let you dualboot Mac OSX Leopard with a Winblows installation. Fair enough I guess. And the specs are better than what I've found. My god, how am I supposed to decide? I dunno. My original plan was to dualboot XP and Ubuntu... but I dunno now. The macbooks do look spiffy indeed. What the hell?!? Somebody help.
