With all this talk about laptops and linux, I have been thinking about adding another category. In fact, I think I will do that straight away. Hang on... <--- intermission ---> Right, back. I did a complete overhaul on the categories. No no, don't worry, I haven't deleted any old ones. I just sorted them into larger categories with subcategories and what have we.
Basically, I added 3 categories. One for unix specifically, which I put
to good use asap, with this post. And one for my social observations, I
sometimes ramble about, called Social Spy. The last category was more of a parent category. I called it Geeking, and it includes, but probably won't be limited to, Blogging, 3D, Net Life, Gaming and Unixing. That way, I can tag a post with just geeking, if it's random stuff, or be more specific if I have something specific to add. Make sense? Sure it does. Don't mope about it. You probably won't know the difference anyway, dearest reader.
So, basically, I noticed how serendipity has a new version of their blog system out, and I think I might as well upgrade mine within the next few days. Perhaps even go for a new layout. I'll put that on the poll, I guess. If anybody ever cares to vote anyway. I also noticed how the contact page isn't working anymore, which is just as well, seeing as I haven't checked the corresponding mail in ages. Changes to the mailserver meant I was cut off for a bit, and I just forgot to get back on. Never really used the mail much for anything else but this blog, but I guess that should be reason enough. I'll try and change it around to another mail. Or.. not try. I'll just do it. I do actually know how.
I was about to type out more stuff about the other crap I actually came on here to write about, but I think I'll just end this post for now, and leave the other stuff for the next post. It's worthy of a post of its very own. But I think I've said what I wanted to say here anyway. No need to add more pointless babling. So... toodles!
