Sims 3 is out. Yeah... not out out, but... for a select few, it was.. out.. uhm.. was available for purchase. That's it. Installed it on my main box, and messed around with it for a bit. Pretty fun stuff. Then I invited Marie over, installed it on my laptop, so we could play simultaneously... and didn't look back. Damn, it gets addictive.
At 4 am, I had to go for fresh supplies of soda and candy. I had already gotten my little character dude to level 10 in Law Enforcement, unfortunately forgetting to disable aging, so he was an old man by then. I barely managed to get some girl pregnant (with twins no less), before it was time for him to retire and, I guess in time, die off. I think, although I haven't gotten that far yet, that I can just take over as one of the kids, and go above and beyond through schooling and later a job.
The possibilities in that game are many and advanced. So we played for several hours with no breaks. Never tiring. I won't really write a lot about the game, as I'm about to play some more. If you played Sims and Sims 2, you'll be in for a treat. If you don't give a fuck about the Sims, then get the fuck off this site (ok ok don't.. it was just a joke. I won't dictate your Sims relationship).
Oh, and on the way up to buy soda and candy, I turned some poor guys bicycle backlight off, because he'd have found it to be out of batteries if I hadn't. And he had clearly forgotten to do so himself. So yeah. I was a model citizen as well as being a hardcore gamer. I rule!
